The Molecular Department is responsible for the development and implementation of molecular diagnostic tests for nucleic acid targets that are encountered in a range of clinical situations.

NOVA provides a comprehensive portfolio of tests that are at the cutting edge of molecular diagnostics and precision medicine. NOVA’s broad range of testing services include the following:

• Clinical Virology tests of viral load for multiple viral pathogens. (HBV, HCV, HIV)
• Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, which complements these tests with in situ hybridization and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
